Touch vs. Pearl

Since Sprint has the $99 plan available and the price is also the same for the Blackberry Pearl! Yes, no more added fees just to use the proprietary Blackberry browser + push email, i'm wondering what the better phone would be.

I currently have the HTC Touch and i'm somewhat happy with it, but i'm missing the physical keyboard, GPS and WiFi.

The Pearl on the other hand has GPS enabled and a physical keyboard.
Wifi is disabled on all Sprint devices as far as i've been told.

Does anyone have a "side by side" comparison between the Touch and the Pearl and can give me some feedback as to which one is better in your opinion?

Thanks,

IB

Re: Touch vs. Pearl

The only sprint phone that has wifi as far as I know is the PPC6700. The Touch phone is great for internet after you speed it up by editing the cache. It is also the best I have seen for TV if you want that, which I do. A little flat panel TV set. it is also good for calls in general. The physical keyboard not being there is a problem. The Blackberry pearl has a keyboard but I am not crazy about the double letter buttons. That seems hard to do texting for me, but the main reason I got the pearl and got rid of my touch is because of the technical issues with the touch that HTC and Sprint tech support could not fix. I found resetting my phone back to the factory default several times a month.
