Re: iPhone Vs. Mogul
if ya'll ever worked on an iphone, you would want an iphone. It is the easiest thing to mod. You dont need a computer to load anything on it, its all done from the phone. Bricking issues = none pretty much now. It is really a modders dream, especially with the SDK on the way. If it worked on sprints network, with evdo and all the great things sprint has going for it (mms?) I would go with the iphone no doubt. too bad apple signed that contract with AT&T giving them exclusive rights :P
oooooorrrrr you could always p168+ it "The Iphone Clone or the CECT P168 (called "the real thing" by Popular Science) - and it looks amazingly identical to the IPhone and offers ALL of the features of an IPhone plus bonus, additional features like extra speakers and a removable battery, plus it allows you to use whatever participating carrier you like (even your current provider). Popular Science Magazine dubbed the IClone CECT P168 "the real thing" because the IClone CECT P168 performs amazingly well, is 1/4 the price of an iPhone and even has bonus features that the iPhone doesn't include. (The aforementioned the ability to operate on two different networks at once, SIX speakers, and a removable, renewable battery.) Seeing both phones side by side makes the IClone CECT 168 an easy sell." article here http://ezinearticles.com/?How-Does-A-IClone-CECT-P168-Compare-To-An-IPhone?--Better!&id=829372 |

Re: iPhone Vs. Mogul
Man it is is a hard choice, the both have awesome pro's and not so awesome con's..
The iphone runs smooth and slick, comes pre-loaded with a pretty interface, and is nice and slim however it doesn't have a removable battery, no expandable memory slot, software for it sparse at best by comparison ( I am not holding my breath on the SDK as I feel Apple will hold the reigns pretty tightly on this), also no REAL GPS (signal triangulation doesn't count), and slow internet connection While the Mogul has real GPS, removable battery, expandable memory, completely versitile UI, more applications than duct tape in the ghetto, and a fast internet connection. On the down side the stock Windows UI needs a healthy dose of botox to make more attractive, most (not all..but most) of the UI skins that I have used cause slow downs, because it is Windows based you have to keep it happy by resetting it ever day or two, randomly it just won't work as smoothly as it should until you give it a reset. Over all I still pick the Mogul, it is a bit high maintenence but can do soooo much more....I use this as my phone, mp3 player, personal finance organzer, notepad, GPS unit, I have a bit torrent dl'r on it, download accelerator as well, I download full mp3 albums from the internet, I have 3 email accounts that pop to it, not to mention the broadband speed which makes just about any internet application usable. For a psuedo-geek I would recommend the iPhone, for the real geek I would recommend the Mogul |

Re: iPhone Vs. Mogul
Although the accelerometer in the iPhone is pretty slick..and it will be cool to see what other games and apps utilize this...check out Sega's contribution..
