you mean cloning in the sense of another port?

No in the sense of esn swaps to avoid the $5 add on because people already do it just to have a late model sprint android on boost.

alright so heres an update..
I went to the sprint store today and played with alot of the phones.

Bottom line is that nomatter what "new" phone I get I will have to upgrade my contract.

That point aside, Ive devided that Im not too keen on the shift..
It just didnt feel right in my hands.

I went over and played with the arrive. Gata say i waas showed at how right it felt.
I still dont like the fact that it has soooo many restrictions in the way of modding..
If I end up with that I will HAVE to try and find a way around that.. but I dont really see that happening.

now I did look at some of the samsungs... Im still not tooooo fond of the samsungs.. but the galexy, the epic and one other phone, I dont remember wich one it was at the moment, did catch my attension

any last thoughts?
I mean the rep told me she couldnt tell me much but that there will be a few new releases upcomming.

There is the Samsung Epic 4g, Samsung Epic Touch 4G, and Samsung Conquer 4G...

(and crappy ones like Samsung Transform, Samsung Intercept)

As for future phones, only upcomming kb phone which I remember from the leak is the LG Optimus Slider...we don't have any Q4 leaks yet...

no not the nexus, although I did get to play around on one cause a girl im hanging out with just got a nexus over the weekend and it was an alright phone. I dont like the screen tho, ive gotten too used to the way the tp2 screen responds and with her phone i was never acuratly hitting anything.

ive gotten used to being abe to use my finger nail lol ^^;

All screens are now like that, aka capacitive display, not resisitive. When I ogt my Epic I had the same reaction, I would take the stylus out of my TP2 and press and then I'm like..oh wait...give it a week and you'll get used to it. OR you mean the curved display is what you don't like?

no, i def mean the difference between the risistive screen that my tp2 has and the capacitive screen of the newer phones.

My buddies iphone and my brothers droid are that way and i always mistype of cant hit a button on a web browser on thos phones.

When I was playing with the arrive however, the screen seemed pretty responsive and accurate to my personal preference as opposed to the nexus or the epic

what kind of screen does the arrive have?

The Arrive has a capacitive screen...only difference between the 2 is that on AMOLED screens the touch sensor is built into the glass and on LCD screens its an extra layer.

And yes resisitive screens are more accurate as you can press down onto 1 pixel whereas capecative is less accurate but helps improve on false presses and add multitouch.

What other uses are there for multitouch beyond pinch to zoom and gameplay? And I think its a nice feature but not totally necessary while accurate pressing would be.
