What I'm saying is you use the word "destroy" like we're comparing an HD2 to a TP2 or something, they are comparable in almost any application and I will admit that current benches show the GS2 to outperform the Evo3D but we're talking hard-core gaming here and it's not obliteration it's just slightly better gameplay. Oh and what if this dude wants to play some games with non etc texture compression and doesn't want to root his phone? |

raw specs means the power of the components inside..they don't have to be practical..for HIS use I told him a single core is more then enough.. |
Re: Photon or Evo?
Wow thx to you all for the many great input.
my primary use of the phone is customization, have to be able to root the phone easily. I love my iPod touch 4g because of the jailbreak. I Turn it into a gps device for driving. I love to get free aps, but I do support the cookers, 3rd parties, such as energy rom. My other uses are games, photo, lots of multitasking. Im not too kind of the Evo 3d, I try it and it gets me dizzy.. I was more leaning towards the eve 4g or the photon. The phone that will do for me will be 4g capable, a nice home screen where I can put my calendars, to do list, miss calls, all my dead line and essentials right there on the home page. And a nice display for movie viewing.:headbang: I heard many great review about the display of the galaxy s, so will like to see the gs2, but don't know how long to wait...for such a phone. |

Re: Photon or Evo?
The thing I dislike about the SGS2 was it did not have the capability of adding any additional storage. I like options of adding 16 or 32 gb's. I was going to wait, but that through me off. Something simple like that takes me away from those products. That's just my feel, not everyone will probably think along those same lines... just an option kinda guy :)

Since you want to root you can install Chainfire3D and play some Tegra2 and other games that you wouldn't be able to with the stock ROM. |

I was at work and got distracted. The SGS2 has microsd capabilities. Just waiting for the Sprint version (Epic 4G Touch) Hoping it's soon, so I can analyze it as well and put together decision. |
