Re: Used NE2 for iPhone 1 month update

I see your points and I here's my basic take. iOS5 actually more copies Android than WP7, although it does take a little from it. I don't want to have to carry an extra battery wherever I go, I would prefer longer battery life. I think we agree on the keyboard thing, Sprint should have had an HD7 type option. There are some games I really do like on Android/iOS that WP7 just doesn't have yet. The higher resolution really comes in when reading something, and there are a lot of apps optimized for it, just hold an iPhone4 and you'll see, the Sensation/Evo3D is the same thing, I can really tell it's got an awesome resolution when I'm using it. WP7 has a lot going for it, but to me it's just not ready for "prime time" till RTM mango comes out, by then there will be more phones, more apps, and the OS will be really nice. |
Re: Used NE2 for iPhone 1 month update
I have said all along, way before I switched to Android and then later the iPhone, WP7 is either going to make it big or fail miserably. And to me, it looks like it is going to make it big. MS waited a few too many years to pull the trigger, but what they came up with is a nice product. But you have to give it time to grow, because right now WP7 is a baby trying to run with toddlers. iOS has been around for several years and Android is pretty new but maturing rapidly. WP7 is still too new.
I would bet by this time next year WP7 is on solid legs and can handle it's own in the three way battle to the top with Android and iOS. |
