from bgr...
First things first… the display. While it might not bear a sexy name like “Super AMOLED” or “Super LCD,” the display on the Arrive is fantastic.

oreo Engadget said opposite..

HTC Arrive review -- Engadget

"Mediocre display"

That said...I personally never had a problem with my TP2 display..I'm not trying to say the display is bad...but I just dont think the above is a fair comparison of a TP2 vs Arrive Displays..aka for it to be fair you gotta not have a screen saver on at all or same screensaver on both..and preferably a new TP2...

I just got a used TP2 w/o a screen protector, I'll see what I can do to come up w/ a 'fair' comparison. What would you like to see in the video of HTC Touch Pro2 (Android 2.2.2) vs HTC Arrive ?

I checked them side by side and the TP2 seems to be more washed out and bright with less gradient..it might be the lighting on the screen but I forgot to mention one thing...Android Gallery limits to 64k colors...where that max should be 256k colors..

(I know I am being picky)

Then again comes the question..is the TP2 lcd 64k colors or 256k colors?...I know winmo limits it to 64k but don't remember if thats the hard limit on the LCD or not :/

The 65k color limitation is on winmo software, so no site is going to have the correct specs for it...I'm not saying that there is no hardware limitation as well but there is a possibility its software only too...
