Android syncs calendar, contacts, and email just fine with MS exchange. Tasks are another story though, I think Wm is the only one to do that. I sync with Google tasks on my evo.

no office integration, no "working" call recording software, no perm roaming software and the list goes on...

I was at a rush concert last night and recording a few segments of the show. I got home and transferred them to my pc and found out when recording it didn't pick up any sound! I called sprint and they said look into media sound and it was set at mid way. i was asked to go all the way up and then it worked. I then set it back to mid way and it worked again, but it didn't work out of the box and lost all those segments i recorded. my wifes evo looks disgusting when trying to record segments of the concert last night in 720p.

There is a shipping label on the way to my home to return this device and re-activated my old reliable that NEVER has issues, my tp2.

I can't wait for wp7 so i don't have these odd issues and have the ability to sync with outlook. Also i can edit word, powerpoint, excel and notes which are all native apps on all wm and wp devices

Nice conspiracy theory but I've been using Gmail for years and never received one junk mail. My ISP email that I've never ever used or given out to one soul is literally crammed with junk mail. Guess who's selling out users info....

I too am sending my Epic back. I am not going back to my TP2 though, I am going to use my Evo. Swype is the only compelling feature of the Epic. Making a call is a brutal 15 step process. The screen is nice and all, but not nearly as nice as I was expecting. I miss SenseUI as I think TW is garbage. I do like the radio buttons on the top curtain though and the hardware key for they camera. I haven't used the keyboard more than twice. I also miss that the battery was swapable with the TP2 and the HTC snap among others.

I'm curious, why is it taking you so many steps to make a phone call?

It is goofy. First of all it only shows one person as you start typing their name. When you finally spell it out far enough to get the correct person. God forbid you want to call someone with the same last name as another contact, ie your wife when your mother has the same last name and name starts with a letter before your wifes. When you get that contact brought up you then click their name. Now it shows their phone number, now you can click the dial button. Same for the call log, you can sometimes click exactly in the call button, but it is a hell of a task and typically brings up the persons profile.

With 7 home screens, there is plenty of real estate to add shortcuts for you most frequently dialed numbers.
