Seriously though, the EVO and the iPhone are both incredible devices. However, from my personal experience, I prefer the openness and design of the Android OS vs iPhone OS. Also, after using this 4.3 in screen for the past few days, anything less just seems too small.

Realistically speaking...the iPhone has better hardware then the EVO.. unfortunately iPhone does not let you make good use of that hardware due to the closed platform...

But EVO has better network...

so answer is wait till they get an Android port for iphone 4 lol

The one that actually stands above is the Samsung Galaxy S / Pro series..and competitors seem to be taking their time releasing this sweet phone...:/

p.s I do hate iPhones..but I also hate how a dumbphone like an iPhone is standing on par with what is suppose to be considered "the best"..its kinda sad..:(

the iPhone is better than the Evo in processor, battery life, GPU, screen resolution, PPI, front and back glass, thinner, more apps, tougher material all around. The Evo has a 4.3" screen and gets 4G in some areas, and is cheaper monthly rate unless you use the iPhone on T-Mobile or Telus like you should. Personally I like Android more than iOS, but I will be getting the iPhone 4 because of the hardware specs and a soon to come Froyo 2.2 dual boot port.

You guys forget there will be a full port on this device...

Go with what you honestly think is best. The iPhone 4 running better specs than the Evo, on a network just as good (in my city) for $20 less on the same plan (T-Mobile), dual booting iOS and Android 2.2 far outweighs the Evo IMO.

But then again, you wouldn't want to be accused of being a "fan boy" would you? Better get the Evo.
