well i got android booting now. takes about 30 seconds. it makes calls, and the screen displays, touch screen works. Gsm treo pro. the only problem is the screen isnt sized correctly, the keyboard input is funky, and the screen becomes thrashed randomly. ill work on it over the weekend and see what i can do.anybody have any tips on getting the keyboard to work?http://i41.tinypic.com/ehwyo3.jpghttp://i42.tinypic.com/35a3ju1.jpghttp://i44.tinypic.com/29ooow4.jpg

Re: Interested in helping Linux/Android development?

various kernels for the HTC Kaiser. since it has exactly the same chipset and processor as the gsm treo pro, i figured it would work. i had to write a different default.txt though. i put the files on the root of the treo pro main storage though as i had various problems getting the sd card to load. im using a htc kaiser version of Haret and a prebuilt android image. ill upload the files when i get a chance.

gsm treo pro files.-treoproandroid
still trying to figure out how to get the screen size correct. ive mapped out all the keys and what letter they are under android- e.g. up=6 volume down=, and ive also figured out that the touchscreen works perfectly, only problem is that it works as if the screen were 480x640 so if we could get the screen sized to 320x320 it would work perfectly. and if you press towards the bottom middle and drag left and up you can pull down the top bar. so this development can finally go somewhere.first ill work on the screen resolution, then keybaord, then ill deal with sound, network, and whatever else needs to be done.

****forgot to mention-put the files on main storage under program files, you can try the sdcard, but ive been working with it on main storage
