Since this issue surfaced, I have since flashed to a new ROM and installed QuickGPS with no issues so far. Seems to be working again, at least for me.

I don't see how. I was having this same problem so I did hard reset, re-flash Matbee 6.5.1 ROM, and eventually went back to the stock Sprint ROM, but never installed Quick GPS after the first hard reset, and was still having the same problems.

If it was a faulty update file, seems it would have been erased after hard reset, and definitely after flashing the ROM.

I eventually took my phone to Sprint and they replaced it with a brand new one on Friday, which is not having any trouble. Though, I think that coincidence, since it obviously was not my phone if others were having the same problem at the same time.

It would be interesting to know the culprit......
