No BeeJive itself does not do this. It's just when I use it and SMS/MMS or Email together does this happen.
Even alone the SMS/MMS and Email often "sticks" the titlebar and causes the phone to become laggy and then the hardkeys (such as OK, Calendar, Windows Sign Button, and Messaging app hardkey) all become unresponsive and only X-ing out the program is the way to get out of it.

So yeah i think it's narrowed down to the SMS/MMS and Email slowing everything down causing it to freeze.
Sadly it is what i use most

I've narrowed it down to this:

Don't open up the 'Account Selection' list. The 'fix' that I posted will modify the 'E-mail' link to rather go directly into your email accounts, rather than give you the account view.
As long as you don't go into this view, you won't have any issues. (I'm trying to figure out what is happening). I think it's because it is launching another process, and something doesn't like it

Sorry, you CAN goto the Account Selection view, but don't view any accounts, lol.

Ok so I have a few problems here....

First off... The task manager like everyone else...

2nd.. I have a have icons and words missing here and there around my OS... Heres pics...

3rd. When I restored with Spritebackup it screwed up some programs and what not and now I have a list of programs in my installed programs list that I cannot get rid of. Is there a manual way of doing it or could you recommend some kind of cleanup tool for WinMO.

4th. How can I remove an email account that was previously setup by my older backup?? It doesnt work... when I click on it.. nothing happens... I had to create a new account for now... But I cannot figure out how to delete an older one that still exists that got somehow restored by the backup.

1) Yeah, HTC didn't design their Quick task manager for this build...

2) I think that's a theme issue... (as first release, I haven't filtered out the improper themes)

3) That happened to me too with a build --- I don't know why it didnt restore the actual programs... I think SB functions backup restorations between builds differently...

4) No idea about this either, check around XDA?

Rom works great so far, 1 day use, installed all of your extra cabs/fixes. I've used all of CFay's roms 6.5's and 6.5.1 and this seems as good or better.

One gripe can't see what i'm texting due to the bottom bar, is there an easy fix for this? not a huge biggie, but rather annoying

Maybe a theme change?

nice tries graphite, instead of zen, and it looks great took the buttons away and let me see what i'm typing!

Will try 5.2.23075 soon

EDIT: ran into problem with white text on white background also buttons were not visible so I can't acknowledge alarms and etc., switched back to classic blue and it doesn't have texting bar problem anymore

Hello acidhax,

I've tried to check and uncheck the option to turn off the task manager on the today screen to no effect. I also installed the cab to make it invisible and it didn't work also. Is there a way to remove the HTC Task manager from the Treo?

I will check your new ROM, but it seems that it has the same problem. I will let you know if the problem is fixed on the new ROM with your instructions.

I'll release another version of hte other rom with a fully functioning HTC Task fix this weekend.
