Mugen 1800 mAh Battery

Anyone try this battery out yet? It appears as though it will fit without a new back cover. I've heard good things about Mugen's products but never used them myself.

Thanks.

Let us know! I'd jump all over that battery if it fits in the standard case!

Re: Mugen 1800 mAh Battery

I purchased it last week. Looks like they're out of stock for now. They should be receiving a new shipment on the 15th of this month. Looks like I have a while before I my hands on it.

Re: Mugen 1800 mAh Battery

Finally got it in the mail. It took about 2 weeks to get here from Hong Kong. I have only had it 2 days so this is preliminary testing.
The battery is a hair thicker than the OEM battery but still fits in the slot fine. It is a little snug though. It comes with instructions that says to charge it for 8 hours the first time and to NEVER let the battery go to zero. I am not sure what that is all about but I will follow this.
With my old batter on a fresh charge I would usually have about 30% at the end of the day. This is after daily usage of like 3 or 4 short phone calls, 15 minute outlook sync, and about 30-50 texts and a little web browsing.
For the last 2 days it has been at 50% at the end of the day. I am still charging overnight but may try to get 2 days out of it this week.
Will post more after a couple of weeks.
This post has been thanked 1 times.

Re: Mugen 1800 mAh Battery

Thanks for the review... do you see a big difference from the original? Would you recommend getting the 1800mah? Thanks for the reply.

Re: Mugen 1800 mAh Battery

You say that the battery is only a little thicker than the original. With the new door, how much does it add to the thickness?
