if its pretty much the same thing then I'm just gonna get a treo 800w there like 200 on craigslist. don't real care about the black housing or the 3.5 jack. that's assuming that its the same specs as the gsm version

Selling for about $150 used and $250 new. Price will probably drop a lot more when the new Treo is launched. I'm gonna to wait a bit.

I m at CES this week and talked with some "family members" who advised me that the specs are NOT DIFFERENT where it counts for the CDMA version. I have the GSM version and freakin love the battery life on this thing. IR range is pretty decent too as are the WiFi ranges Bluetooth etc.

Yeah, that's what I've heard too...a pretty vanilla conversion.

I was hoping for an 800w software/Treo Pro hardware combo with soft touch paint....

So that means it should have the huge battery that the GSM Treo Pro uses? Awesome news.
