Change keyboard layout

Hi guys,

I have a French Treo Pro and an English one.
Besides the lingual differences, the hardware keyboard on the French one is AZERTY while the English is QWERTY.

What I wish to do is place a fully French ROM on the English device, which I believe I can do (I'll come back for more help if not!)

However, once the French ROM is on the English phone, I need the keyboard to behave as is written on the keys - the on screen keyboard isn't an issue.

How can I apply different hardware keyboard layouts?
