My phone does not charge while tethering!!

When I first started using pdanet or internet sharing the phone would charge while I tethered and I could stay connected forever with no issues.

Recently after no changes made on the phone or computer it will no longer charge and the battery just drains and eventually dies after about 1.5 hours of use.

I have the phone set to never turn off while on external power and for the screen to timeout after 1 min.

Any ideas? The internet sharing hack was genius by the way wish I would have found it before buying pdanet.
