Re: OZ Communication Instant Messaging Questions/Help

Maybe try a hard reset. I actually have them there but don't remember them being there before this last hard reset I had to do. Did you install Oz using the shortcut provided on the ROM? Maybe before hard resetting, try uninstalling it, do a soft reset, then reinstall it from that shortcut?

Re: OZ Communication Instant Messaging Questions/Help

I did a hard reset on my 800w and those events are no longer an option. Then tried installing everything that I was running on the device back on and it did not restore it. The only other messaging software I have used is Fring but I removed it and I no longer have the install files. I don't know if that would give you those events. I had made some registry mods. I will check on those and post if any of those did the trick.

Re: OZ Communication Instant Messaging Questions/Help

Ok, my two cents: go get beejive.

I've had some horrific issues with OZ in the past on my ATT phone from work. I've used beejive for years on my blackberrys, and it works perfectly with my 800w thus far. It was a little slow on the mogul but the treo seems a lot better. Oh yeah, and you can properly control all the events in the notifications secton as you were expect.

It is in permanent beta as they have stopped developing for it, but the up side is, its free!

Re: OZ Communication Instant Messaging Questions/Help

hey i have tried Beejive, but im looking for a app that allows other users know that i am on Mobile, and the most important thing is letting me know i have new messages when the phone is switched to Vibe. I don't mind if the app uses sms or my data plan since i have unlimited text and data. Is there any other apps out there?

I may be mistaking but I believe OZ is only available for mobile devices.
