all my contacts are ther when I go to make a call or text but when i recive a call there name dont show up and when I hang up it asked me if I want to save the number. Any clue why?

yes. all my contact worked fine. I had the phone over a month then one day it started doing this. I was going to reset but im afraid I might lose my contacs and my pc died last week so I can't sync

Go and get a free Exchange account with mail2web.com - the free version is mail2web live. It will sync contacts, calendar, tasks, and your mail2web email account. Once you have it set up and synced, hard reset your phone, enter in your exchange server info for mail2web, and within a minute or two you will have all of your contact data back.

I really have no clue why is doing it, but if you wanna hard reset you can safe contacts,call logs,appointments,messages,speed dials,tasks with this free easy to use backup app, called PIM Backup..

Dashwire works also for backing contacts , pictures etc

Question is does Dashwire let you sync data back to the phone? And he's computer is broke, he needs it to sign up for a dashwire account...

Here is the free backup program from HTC. You can backup/restore either the entire system or pim data.

um, there's also an app included on the 800w called Sprite Backup. works perfect.

Yeah i forgot the 800w comes with a Backup feature. Even better.
