Right, Sprite BU works fine so probably the fastest. Having an Exchange account is nice though...

Re: Contact Issues

Regardless of which backup software you opt for...pick one, and use it religiously. Most will allow you to schedule backups and should allow you to customize what info gets backed-up. I tend to backup whenever I install something cuz you just never know. And the two minutes it takes to backup is better then starting over from scratch or from your last backup of 2 months ago.

Coz

+1, i've hard reset plenty times, backing up, got me back to square one in 2-3 minutes, tops
FYI-if u want to backup notes in AS or MDC, manually copy and paste them to the folder for your phone on ur desktop...for some reason, mine wouldnt back them up automatically

I agree with coz and skee. Back up, Back up, Back up. I also create seperate back ups after each install and store them on my comp. Two reasons. 1. New app screws up my device. 2. I lose or get my device stolen.

This is why I'm a fan of exchange - it backs up immediately, as soon as I add a contact or make a new task etc. without needing me to do anything. Of course, I also do sprite backups to my memory card for added redundancy.

Exchange will only sync contacts, email, tasks, and calendar. It doesn't do anything with pictures, music, programs, ect. Exchange isn't really a backup solution. Its an email solution.

Re: Contact Issues

Does anyone know of a fix without having to do a hard reset?
