I've got Windows Vista installed on my laptop and haven't seen this problem. Do you have Windows Mobile Device Center installed? You'll need that. Here's the link:

Good luck. The 800w is the only device I could not get to work with Vista. I had three 800's.

I've never had a problem with connecting mine between my Vista laptop and XP desktop. I wonder if its something installed on your pc?

And is this the VibrantRedGT I see so much of at TreoCentral.com?

Of course. I have a Touch Pro (primary) and 700wx (back up and outside) so all the forums are here in one place. The 800 forums are light and need more people to post instead of just TC.

I agree, but I don't think this is the first place people think of when they think Treo. I've been doing as much as I can to build this place up. I started out at PPCGeeks and have a deep respect for the people here, thats why I tend to do most of my posting here rather than else where.

I see we signed up pretty close together. I will send some people over this way to get the boards moving.
