Re: Treo Alerts

I installed beta 15 and for some reason, the LED will just not blink when I get new messages. That is the main reason I tried it out.

It worked great on my old 700wx.

Anyone else having this problem?

The main Treo Alerts thread is located here. http://discussion.treocentral.com/sh...d.php?t=167288

It is up to RC4. You can make the LED blink Red Green and different speeds.

Re: Treo Alerts

well, that version looks a bit better on my 800w. the last version I had seemed to cut off the bottom row of pixels from everything on my treo alert display.

unfortunately, even though I put the settings on LED only, it still doesn't work. I remember when I put on the last version for the first time on this device, there was an error message that came up saying something about how the LED couldn't be configured (or something pertaining to the LED anyway).

is that some kind of goofy setting in my device? w/o that LED thing, treo alert doesn't do me much good.

thanks for posting the link to the current version though!

What is the point of him using RC4 if he says it doesn't do anything for him?

Re: Treo Alerts

I think the problem is with my device, not the app. I'm thinking about doing a factory reset to try to get everything back to square 1 then reloading everything.

This isn't a huge deal. All I'm trying to do is get the LED to function. If that doesn't happen, I won't cry for too long.
