Carrier name
Just tried the tweak to get ride of the Sprint Carrier name and space for typing in contacts information. I am using Resco edit but once i follow it to "today" the next option isn't available to go to "items". Anyone else have a fix for this since now i am running SPB phone suite and now have the carrier twice even though i have personalized it i want that extra space for my today page. t/y all.

U have any screen shops of what this software looks like. SPB phone suite has a tight look to it just want to get ride of the extra sprint space and type area. I think i seen a search option in resco if so i will try to search for the proper path for the reg fix i seen posted here by Dan the Mad man.

No i already did that with the personalizer i want that space gone so i have more viewable space. Also if you ever had SPB phone suite it has call by picture and there are quick tabs above the pics but no icon. I tried reloading and still the icons r missing they were a phone , envelope & picture. t/y

In a few days zbop will be releasing hidelogo for the 800w. I have been beta testing it for a week it has been stable. Once it is released I am sure it will be crossposted here.
From the post at treocentral. Description: This is an early release of HideCarrier, please do NOT install this unless you read the following instructions carefully and are willing to help test this. If you want a stable release, please wait until it has been tested by others first. Once I release it, I'll create a new thread with an announcement for it. HideCarrier is a functional replacement for hidelogo. It hides the carrier line, yet retains the functionality of the today screen dialer/lookup field. It should work in stock 128DPI mode or in 96DPI mode with RealVGA. I've also tested this briefly with UltimateLaunch and it seems to work properly. Currently, I would consider this alpha quality, so there are risks involved with installing it. The ideal tester would be: - someone who has used hidelogo before so that you can evaluate if it provides the same functionality - should be able to edit the registry to enable logging if a problem occurs - should have full backups and be okay with doing a hard-reset if necessary
