Protecting my 800w

This is my first SmartPhone so I've been slowly learning all kinds of cool stuff here...

My question today is about protecting my 800w. I haven't had much luck finding any kind of case or anything... I don't want a belt clip, or anything that hooks on my belt (especially since I don't wear one most of the time). I've seen the clear skin things you have to apply -- they look like they're a PITA.

Any suggestions?

Also, do you guys get those screen protector things? My phone's usually either in my hands, on my desk, or in my pocket -- by itself. But I want to make sure the screen lasts...

Thanks in advance, I appreciate advice from experienced pros!

Try checking BoxWave.com or WMexperts Store (store.wmexperts.com).

Re: Protecting my 800w

rubber strechy cases on ebay screen protectors are good but then you need to fix the reg to make the screen more sensitive.

Re: Protecting my 800w

check out this one...
http://www.thepocketsolution.com/PSI...port+Case.html

I use the passport case for my mogul and it works great (I don't like belt clips either). If and when I get an 800w I will get a passport case for it.

Re: Protecting my 800w

I just got a bunch of things from Seidio.

The Innocase was very difficult to install, could get 3 corners to snap together but the 4th was very difficult. Didn't matter which of the 3 I started with, the last one was tough.

I also got the screen guards. One interesting note, they are labeled Treo 800w but they are really for the Centro. I assumed the 800w and Centro has the same screen but it's not true. The 800w's screen is about 1/8" taller than the Centro's, so I have a 1/8" gap at the top of my screen.

Also bought a new stylus, retractable usb/sync cable and car charger cable. I think I'm set for awhile.
