stylus shape and size?

Is the stylus the same as any other phone cause i hear its another cheap one. I have a stylus from a ppc6700, 700wx, touch, and metal ones for centro. Will any of these work?

The ones for the Centro definitely will not. They are too short and a little too thin and will disappear inside the 800.

Worst stylus I've ever had on a PPC (even worse than the HP Jornada's flat one).

It's lightweight and plastic (both OK, IMO). BUT, far too flexible and bends a lot when you use it.

Actually, I have gotten used to it. At least it doesn't fall out of the phone like the 6700 did (I always had to 'crimp' mine with pliers to get it to stay). Sure its flimsy but it works.

I installed touchflo and that helps quite a bit (scrolling and such).

Yeah - I always had to put clear nail polish on my 6700 stylus (after I lost 2)

A couple of questions re Touchflo:
- Which one are you using?
- Is it faster? i.e. does it appear to use HW acceleration?
- Doesn't the recessed screen make it a bit difficult to use?

- FTouchFlo_v1.4.1.
- As compared to?? I was running it on a PPC6700, seems snappier but then again so does the entire device
- Depends... my 6700 had a recessed screen, so perhaps I am just used to it. Doesn't seem to affect what I am trying to do with it

I also use WKTask which gives me good 'thumb' access to most of my programs as well as the today screen.
