Yup.

On the treo 700w/wx Palm put a program in that "masks" the Soft keys, hence when the OS boots you can see that it says "phone" on the left and "contacts" on the right and then change to "Messaging" and "Menu".

Normally, on a WM5 device via the registry you can change the Left and Right soft keys to say anything and open anything.

You CAN NOT do this on the Treo.

What this hack does is merely augment the existing Palm menu by adding 1 program to it (namely Palm Messaging). But that is very different from a normal WM5 device.

It also obviously works on the 700wx.

This will be hehave differently on any other WM5 device (namely, 0 menu items instead of 2).

Yep this along with the threaded sms has made my week. It is working perfectly.

i added the cab file and the edits worked.....the sms was in the menu but i had a voicemail and whenever i clicked the sms it opened the pop up voicemail "veiw" or dismiss" buttons.....then i soft reset and itsback to original state so the entries didnt stick.....im on a treo 700w

.cab only changed the left soft key to SMS, no second menu option.

using a 700wx?

Ok I am very confused how am I suppose to install this? Do I download it on the PC and then transfer it to the phone some kind of way?
I have no idea how to install this..
