Ask and you shall receive, this is the reg file from a treo 750 user.

That would be great, because I really don't know where to start. Not to mention, I don't like messing with the registry if I don't have to. Thanks in advance!

This file can be use the Sprint PPC 6700? Are there still bugs in this that affect use in the 6700?

not sure yet, i will do a hard reset and install the palm sms and see if i can still function. I don't think it will do serious harm, but i don't want to chance it...lol. The biggest thing that i notice in this treo 750 registry thats not in my 6700's registry is the references to the sms trigger.exe app. I think this is the key to having the chat function correctly. I'm just such a noob at this ppc thing that i am not that much help. But i'll do what i can :P

Hate to burst your bubble, but it's not. I added smsTrigger + the registry references and it doesn't help the chat delay...I am using a 700wx but no reason to think it would be different on your 6700.

You're doing way more than I with this phone. I've been so scared to venture because I don't want to break something that I can't fix with a hard reset lmao. I will hold off until this thing is out of "alpha" and "beta" testing...Thanks for the update.

I have heard that there have been different results on the 700wx and the 6700. Can't hurt too much to give it a try! I would, but alas I have conference calls the rest of the afternoon and need my 6700 for them...

LOL, its not that big of a deal. i use spb backup to backup my entire phone. it will restore from a back up image in about 5 mins. so i can trash it, and get right back to normal in no time!

i can't figure out how to import the reg file either. akijikan how did you import the reg? thanks.

EDIT: figured it out, have to use Resco Explorer 2005
