Sure you can just run the app, but if you want to save a lot of space it is recommended to copy them over Ace. 8)

this app is a sight for sore eyes. I, like so many others, switched from a treo and miss this feature. the sms portion works great on my sprint ppc 6700, but i cannot for the life of me get mms to send. i am not a noob and followed the directions to the "t". I've also read all 50+ pages on this thread, and the 77+ pages over at treocentral, and am still no further along. the ppcgeeks arcsoft mss hacked worked great, but i uninstalled it to do this. am i missing something? am i a noob? does mms not work? i do have a picture mail account by the way.

mms no worky u have to use the acrsoft if u wanna send mms messages on ur device ;)

No, the 13 rom files should only be copied over if needed. Copying them over to the windows directory does not save space. You can delete the 13 files from \Program Files\Palm Messaging\ folder to save space however.

where is the cab file?

in the howto.txt say that if you have AKU 2.3 or later you don?t need to replace files, mine it?s 2.25 and it?s working without the files issue :)
