I stake my reputation on it. No way did CompUSA get the scoop on the entire internet community! No way is Sprint launching a 2nd WM treo that is barely different 1.5 months after the last!

Call Sprint in Rockville, MD and ask as well. Some of the reps told me that they already see the SKU it in their system.

hey they didnt happen to mention the sku number did they? if so let me know what it is and I will see if courtney can look it up. If not Im still gonna have her look if she can. :)

Done alittle research on it and heres what I came up with....have a look. Found over at treonauts....kind of confirms that there will be one. Says cdma with evdo and all! sad to say they are going to the minisd cards lower processing power to 300mAh and lowering the battery to 1200mAh. :D

well that just blows i just bought my 700 less than an hour ago!!!

nall read the fine print hehe it says Palm has NOT yet annouced when it will be released in the States. ;) and it looks like this has been around before the 700p was released! hehe Palm holding out :D

Andrew never mentioned on his site, ever. So I find it odd that he'd nonchalantly "announce" it via a graph.

Furthermore, Engadget has nothing on this, TreoCentral has nothing on this, PDA247 has nothing...the only people who are saying this is true are found on this site and no other :wink:

Either way, I flat out asked Andrew on his site so we'll see what he says on the issue.

Right but with the 700wx on Sprint...it was reported back in FEBRUARY that Sprint would get that phone and it was about 8 weeks before it's release we heard about the "double memory" and 6 weeks before we had a video of the darn thing.

The i830 has been rumored to come out on Sprint ever since Verizon got the i730.

No way is CompUSA of all places getting a new Sprint phone in their system and no "insiders" mentioned it.

Right, and in my opinion it makes no sense to release 3 PDA phones so close to each other, even more when 2 of them would be Treos. They want people to upgrade as soon as a new phone is released.

Anyway, if it's released fine... if it isn't fine as well. I'm happy with the wx, only time can tell :lol:

BTW Im using the Cab file that is located on the very first page of this thread, I've installed it on 4 MDA Vario II's and 2 MDA Vario's and it works wondrously on them all apart from the reg problem.

Does anyone else's registry keep doing what mine does and if so what phone models do you have? I have encountered one person on XDA-Developers that has this problem but is very vague about it and there doesn't seem to be much help on there.

PS Also if you try and record sound in an MMS do you get this error? "RECBAR.dll is missing" people have moved this file to the phone then get "Failed initializating the recording subsystem." Does the Treo have a different sound recorder program than other WM5 devices and does anyone have it working?
I also notice that if you use the "Pick Sound" option on the add media menu it does not display any .wav or .mp3 files only .AMR files, is there a way around this as I wouldn't mind if I could record sounds in my standard program then send them.

Also have found unless you have AKU 2.3 or above it will never work properlly. Good job AKU 3.2 is just around the corner, you'll see all your glitches fizzle away!

JUST GETTING P**SED OFF WITH THE REGISTRY!!
