Activesync to your pc via Vision

I have been trying to find a way to sync/push my Outlook account. My IT department will not allow a VPN connection to it to be setup. I've been trying to figure out if there is a way to setup my phone to activesync into my computer (which has all of my email on it) and pull it down....Basically...just do an activesync over vision. I have looked all over the net as well as the forums and haven't really found anything remotely similar. I am hoping that someone can shed some light on this issue for me!

edited: I have found that this used to be a feature called 'Remote Activesync' but I still can't find any information on setting it up!
