I wish I had a BMW! :D

I am going to look into a Stereo BT Headset soon. Both my iTech & Generic clips sound bad with "UseJointStereo" set to 1 (Off). :( And worst of all the Moto & Logitech types don't fit my big head.

My Motorola H700 works great!!

First, I want to thank all of you that contributed to this thread. After reading all posts regarding Bluetooth, I decided to install Hannip's Bluetooth stack. I do not have stereo headphones, but I decided to install it to see if it would help my situation:

Before

* My Bluetooth connection would drop, but not entirely. I could see on my 700 that the connection was active, but was unable to actually hear a call through the HS. I would have to do a soft-rest and pair again for it to work.
* Voice quality when Bluetooth was actually working was just crappy. People would tell me that my call quality was very poor with a lot of static and cracking.

After

* My BT connection stays active and has not dropped off all day.
* I called my friend in Seattle and he could not tell I was even using a BT headset until I told him. He said the voice quality was 1,000% better than any previous call I had made to him.

All this time I thought he BT issues were related to the headset. I'm glad there are forums like this one that shares solutions to existing problems.

Now my next problem is figuring out what BT stereo headset to use with my new and improved 700wx.

You all take care,

Boogaloo

Instead, try installing Hannips A2DP hack. I lost my BT after installing the Palm Messaging hack, but didn't want to hard to reset. I figured I'd give it a hail mary and installed hannips hack. Ever since my BT has worked GREAT. Even better than before.

So, before you hard reset, try hannips A2DP hack. It might save you a lot of time and you might see enhanced performance. If this helps just one person, I'll be happy.

Good luck.

Please read the quote above from another thread, this may be the solution to your BT problems!!!

Re: WOW! Voice Command seems to be working through Stereo HS

Verified... Treowx + Jarbra JX-10... seems to be working... unless the Treo's microphone is THAT good.

PLEASE someone verify this with same or similar hardware ...

I'm pretty sure the consensus is that this does not enable bluetooth voicecommand capability. But to truly confirm it would one of you mind putting your Treo underneath a pillow or something (or even better, in another room with the door closed). Range-wise that shouldn't be a problem...

This is great! I had bought the Logitech F-0361A for iPods ($20 on eBay!) exactly for this and was disapointed when it wouldn't work. I had done this hack over the weekend and just now got to pair up the headset with the phone. Works flawlessly! Well almost...as I expected the controls on the headset don't work. Well the volume works but not the forward and back buttons. No biggie though...I can live without that

Yea... sadly you're right... but this does show me that the microphone on the 700wx can pick up pretty dang well.

Sorry if I got anyone happy over nothing

Why did you expect it not to work? I can't speak of your headphones specifically, but I tried out the Motorola weird looking ones and the controls worked fine in WMP...
