Treo700wx SD Card Type

Does anyone know the EXACT type SD Card that will work on my Treo? My old 'off brand' died after 1 1/2 years and I lost everything I had stored on it.

Now, I've purchased 3 different SD Cards (4gb as I had before) but none are being recognized by the Treo.

Is there a specific type card I need to be looking for?

Mine's a 4gb Transcend Secure Digital card 150x (that's all the information on the front of it). Works great!

What are the three SD cards that don't work? They do need to be at a certain speed, I believe...

im not sure of the exact type but my suggestion is to purchase the mobile memory kits by SanDisk. It comes with the microSD card and the miniSD and Regular SD adapter so you can use it in any device and its already set up for mobile phones.

Same here, fine since 8/07 loaded to 2198.76 MB

You need to get the SDHC driver. I personally use cab from HTC version in my Treo. I'm running an 8gb micros d in an sd adapter. It works great with the exception that your Treo will only show 4 gb with of space.

While your hot on the subject, I also have an 8gb sdhc transcend. Is there a way to format the 8gb's into two 4gb partitions so the treo can read the full 8gb's?

dang I called sprint today and they told me the highest this phone supports in 2 gigs

Well, ive only had Sprint a year now. Its not hard to figure out that alot of things that they may tell you isnt entirely true. (to their knowledge ofcourse) lol

There is a cab file from an HTC phone (which model the device is escapes me at the moment) that enables your Treo 700wx Sprint aswell as Verizon to read SDHC storage cards.

I just recieved my 8gb Transcend for $29.99 USD from Newegg.com. Sadly the Treo 700wx doesnt read the full 8gb's. I figured the card is basicly $5.00 more than a 4gb so why not have an 8gb card if someone where to discover a means of using the rest of the 8gb cards potential.

Next where do i get the cab file from and what is the exact name.?
Also.. should i be able to create 2 different 4gig partitions and the phone should be a able to read?
Sprint sux.... i just found out they lied, they said my treo has navigation and GPS and all dat so i could navigate through US ( altho i just needed it for TX).. come to find out, thats only possible after u buy stuff left and right, which imo.. screw it.. its not that important
