Have you installed any themes or anything affecting your UI or Today screen? GWES errors are usually related to those...
If not, hard reset again and install one app by one app and soft reset to check what caused the error.

This happens when all of the files did not copy over. One of the first beta's was known for this. Try re-copyiong the files very carefully.

Well I think I figured this out.
I tried doing the exact same thing to my roommates Treo 700wx and he doesn't have any error. I am also getting "Out of Memory" error messages every time my phone goes in and out of service. The only explanation has to be bad internal memory, so tomorrow I plan on heading to a Sprint store to get a replacement. Now, the real issue is how to prove it to them... Also, Pibe38, I'm from Orlando as well! |

I used to get the gwes.exe error message multiple times a day for about 3 weeks. I cleared out a bunch of themes that I was never using and the error went away.

I now got a brand new shiney replacement phone!
but I'm still getting the gwes.exe error on boot...this time I installed less things: I sync'd contacts, installed Resco Explorer, deleted poutlook from Start.. BOOM: gwes.exe error. Any solutions? I'm going to play with it for a little bit to see what I can find. Since the Palm App isn't installed, it can't be that. |
