Re: Will they finally admit it??
It's really a great time to be a phone junkie, there are so many options for everyone to choose. For now I decided to get Pre, it does slow down sometimes but it's a "PHONE" you gotta just realize that life won't end because of 1 or 2 extra seconds of waiting. I think the Pre does lots of things well and needs improvements (calendar).
I had WM for 2+ years and enjoyed flashing roms and making the phone unique for my use. The diamond sometimes would lag lag lag but I kept it and it worked well when not lagging. Being able to reg hack in WM for tethering is great and I can't wait for WM to move forward with a better interface. I wanted to try something new so I retired the diamond and moved to the Pre. Android has lots of promise and I almost jumped to the Hero but I didn't want to go back to a Vkeyboard. When a strong Android player comes to Sprint (with a real keyboard) I'll pick it up and enjoy it. Every OS and phone has its strength and weaknesses just enjoy what you have and if you don't like it jump ship to something else. |
Re: Will they finally admit it??
exactly quit talking and complaining and enjoy the phone u have.. the best phone every produced sanyo mm-9000 and the funny thing is did everything my windows phone did.. gps.. email..camera..games.mp3. movies.etc.. for a dumb phone anyway...but the point is.. glad u like your hero.. but to me its not the end all phone..neither is the pre or tp2.. but my decision to get the pre was not based on who did what better.. or who has the better apps. etc.. i like the form factor..and it does what i need. and dont have to spend 9 hours a day to get it the way i want..oh and the wife was getting mad for spending to much time with my diamond.lol

Re: Will they finally admit it??
stop getting all worked up if someone doesn't agree with your opinion. I love windows(had it for a little over four years) its very powerful but unlike other OS's,its either too powerful for the hardware its coupled with or it isn't optimized for the hardware. Either way, the point is, just like everyone else, I flashed custom roms to obtain the speed and stabilty of the stock roms on other OS's. To me this shows interest in other OS's

The pre is fine for now. I would like to see a HTC HD 2 with Sprint and then I will go back to WM.

Re: Will they finally admit it??
me im sticking with the pre..iphone is a no go for me.. cause i dont feel like paying 90 or more on a plan. with spotty 3g cov. not to mention I dont like apple..lol
If i had to choose another carrier other than sprint it would be tmobile even though i would be stuck with edge for data, lol |
Re: Will they finally admit it??
I always stick with stock roms. Only thing I have done was change radio(once on tp),taskbar and customize tf3d(change clock & slider icons) . Tried the pre-hated it,tried the hero-liked it a little better than the pre but still wouldnt buy it. Im very happy with my phone.

Re: Will they finally admit it??
now see to me that is exactly how a person should explain why they like what they currently use.. u didnt bash or hate on the pre or the hero.. and just stated u like wm.. and the reasons why.
so what ecxactly did u hate bout the pre...? I had one right after launch and didnt care for it at the time.. but came back a month ago and have been hooked since.. |
