Oh yeah, screwed around and bought a Pre last night. Haven't had a chance to make it mine yet but I'm getting there and should have a better opinion on this phone tomorrow. So far so good though

Palm's create-a-profile service was down all day, I bought the phone last night, ported my # over, and basically had a brick for 18 hours. All day today I stared at the phone wondering why it wouldn't let me play with it

Finally got activated this evening, upgraded webOS while out then came home a little while ago and installed the homebrew apps hack. Used Missing Sync to throw some music and calendars on it and now looking for the wifirouter app

I don't know if there is an app for wifi router, but I rooted mine for wifitethering

Play with Preware and the patches and stuff, there is a lot of useful ones IMO.

Oh and use MusicPlayer Remix to play music, I like it a lot better, it's on the Homebrew Apps list in Preware.

NinjaMom, did you update yet? Spirit was mentioning something about a new Facebook app, but I didn't see anything regarding it....Any ideas?

Yes. Updated last night.

The facebook app is in the app store. Got to go there to get it. It is OK. Worth being on the Pre, but I still go to lite.facebook.com in the web browser some times too.

I updated at like 3 in the morning when they released it. It took a while because I wiped the phone and started from scratch.
