Trying to help the wife, and have 2 questions!?

I am a WM phone guy, have the TP2, wife wanted the Pre. Can the Pre not recieve vcards? I send them to here andthey show up funky and do not save in the contacts. Also there is times that when she touches a button on the bottom of the screen, nothing happens, she has to keep doing it and it may work, on my WM phone I would just do a soft reset, any Ideas?
