Re: Protection for the Prē

Hey Guys and Gals... DONT forget those of you that had a Touch Pro and got Ghost armor protector and they messed up your order. They should have given you a coupon code that makes it 50% off !!!!

What a deal.... I just did it...

I second that... I just love the Touchstone and the new back.

Re: Protection for the Prē

The screen portectors I ordered off eBay came in. They were cut wrong and didn't have a hole for the mic, so I emailed the guys and we will see what they say...

Anyway, the screen protector itself I really like. The surface is super smooth and glides really well for the swipe gestures.

Hmmm, that's a good start. Keep me posted. I didn't realize that there were so many products out there. WOW!

Thanks for the feedback. This is exactly what I'm looking to see... real feedback on product use.

Cheaper plans you get what you pay for!

Or as another option: I added my Pre as a rider to my homeowner's insurance policy...still $100 deductible, but only $17 per year for full value replacement.

And they even cover it when it was damaged outside of your property or stolen away from your house?

Hopefully I won't have to put it to the test, but yes, that is what I was told.

Re: Protection for the Prē

Well, because the screen protector I ordered through the mail was cut wrong I ended up buying an Invisible Shield, despite my previous hesitation to apply one to this device. I mostly bought it because I was at a Best Buy and they happened to have them in stock.

I got the full body model because the "screen only" model was just cut to cover the square "working area" of the screen, and just used the front part because I have the Touchstone back and didn't want to cover it.

I have installed Invisible Shields previously on an iPod, an Instinct and a Diamond without much trouble. This one, however, was an absolute nightmare to apply because of the curved screen and because you have 3 holes to line up. It was very difficult and tedious. Someone earlier mentioned that they had access to professional Zagg installation for 10 bucks. I would highly recommend, that if you have access to this service and want to buy one of these screen protectors, take advantage of it... it will save you a major headache.

Anyway, I just finished putting it on a bit ago so I will leave some more feedback after all the little bubbles melt.
