Well I am not going to write a crazy big write up. I have been with the Pre for 4 hours or so. I did have to go on youtube and find a few videos to teach me certian things about the phones use. I have already put some Homebrew Apps on and I am looking into the themes.

I will say, so far....I am loving this phone!! I am still learning how everything works and I will report back with a better understanding of the device

Glad to be hanging out in this thread with you guys.

I got the pre a few months ago. kinda left a bad taste in my mouth.. my unit basicly broke.. not enough to customize it at the time.. only thing i missed was pandora.. fast forward to a few days ago.. man what a diff a few months make.. im so happy i came back to the pre for a bit.. my take is it just works and stress free...glad to be taking a vaction from windows.. not that im leaving for good.. prolly will get whatever sprint had out come march for my upgrade.. but we will see...

I am planning on getting the pre soon, i am coming from wm. I guess the questions i have is can you easily install applications like on windows just putting the cab and installing?also does it have video camera?

Ah negative on the video cam atm, support coming in the future update.. as fas as install app like win mobile. dont think there is a way ( i could be wrong as im still learning bout the pre ) I think all install are over the air. or for home brew u can use preware..or for using your desktop to install use webos quick install.. coming from wm myself its quit an adjustment but the pre is so easy and stress free that i got used to it quick. hope that helps..

Here's my review. My Palm Pre is better than the Apache, Mogul, Touch, Diamond, Touch Pro, Touch Pro2, Palm Pro, and the Hero that I've owned. This phone beats them all. Hands down. =)
