Looks Like HTC is Out
Did anyone read the article in Reuters? Looks like HTC is passing on the Palm acquisition and Lenovo has become the leading prospect. If Lenovo acquires it does anyone think the price of the WebOS devices will be inflated like the cost of their computer?

There are apps coming into the app store for the iPhone that are costing just as much as some of the iPad apps. I like the apps being created but I also think that the iPad opened up pandoras box for greedy developers. No matter the cost people are always going to buy them. But tell me, does that justify charging 10x the price for the same app that is on the iPhone? Maybe if we were allowed to do more...

The only problem I see now with WebOS being on a tablet is that it doesn't look like there will be no DocToGo for WebOS. If someone esle could develop something similar it definetly would be great.

Apple has a very smart marketing, they know what they can charge and still get people to buy it, apparently they did their research and people are willing to pay more for iPad apps. |

MS Office = 199.00 for a 10" net book BUT 699.99 for a 17" PC. It is essentially the same principle isn't it? |

Who thinks that Dataviz gets back on board for Palm Pre now that HP is involved?
