that's odd, I am on 1.0 as well and my battery icon is fine, it shows the % in numbers when it isn't being charged.

I count 38 apps in my Remove Programs list. Some of these won't be needed because they are cooked in. I also keep the installers on the SD card so it is somewhat simpler to reinstall than to surf all over heck. However, it's not just the re-installing that's the pain. It's getting all the registration keys back in place and the re-tweaking of the settings to get back where I was.

Restoring after the leaked ROM was pain free obviously due to it be the same but better version.

It is obvious to me that reclaiming 70-80mb of storage and having a snappier system is worth the pain. However, I'm trying to make sure I have to do it before I do it. Thanks for your help.

I'm pretty sure Mishimi will do all this... From what I've seen, so far, it's not the most user-friendly app, though. Adryn posted a link to a good page for setting it up on omnia a page back...

Interesting you mention about the battery meter on the taskbar. I no longer have one when in any of the Spb Home screens. Note I just recently installed Spb Mobile Shell 3.0 so don't know if this is by design or not? I do however have the battery display with percentage via my normal Today screen and w/ Quickmenu installed and those options ticked in it.

Does anyone know if this an incompatibility when running Quickmenu/Spb Shell? Or am I missing a setting within Spb?

Having the same trouble. Tried installing SQLCE to Main and soft resetting, but it didn't help.

Then it probably needs .netCF 2.5 and will not work with 3.5 alone.
Grab 2.5 and install it.

I think you are correct. I just remembered it did it once when I installed 3.5. I will Flash 1.0 tonight and try again. I'll let you know how it comes out. Thanks once again for the the help and all you have done.
