So when you push the button on the BT headset, does the BT icon on the top menu bar change to a microphone icon?

Also check what processes are running with a task manager (HTC?) that does that. I am not sure what it does, but I have a task called EventBroker.exe that has a BlueTooth icon associated with it. It is called from a shortcut in the Windows\StartUp folder. I can't find much info on it with a Google search, so this is really just a shot in the dark.

The bluetooth icon (eventbroker.exe) is there, when I press the button on my headset it beeps, but nothing happens with the phone (no microphone icon). And when I have voice command associated with a button on my phone and I press it, I can hear the beep from the speaker (but not the "Say A Command" prompt that I have in the past when using the stock ROM).

I haven't heard "Say a command" in a while. I just hear the beep and then make my request. If it doesn't hear me say anything, it will make a "donk" sound and quit. If it doesn't understand, it will say "Please repeat." What happens when you speak after the beep?

Absolutely nothing. It just quits. I have a decent headset - one of the Plantronics Discovery 925s.

Hmm. Don't know where to go from here. ](*,) I can only say it works with a Jabra and a Motorola BT headset for me with the Legacy ROM. There may be something else interfering with it, but I couldn't guess what that would be. Sorry.

I have a slight bug in the 23529 Legacy ROM. If the device comes on rotated 90 degrees (landscape mode), the slide to unlock button does not appear. I have to reset the device. I haven't seen this in previous ROMs. Anyone else seeing this?

Yeah I've actually have that same problem in the unmodified version. You don't have to reset the device though, just hold the end call button down until the screen lights up,then let the button go... the screen will flip and the slide to unlock will appear.

I just downloaded the trial version of spb mobile shell 3.5 - do I use this with the above rom's?

After updating my verizon sch-i910 to CF03 - I am still at WM 6.1. Verizon and Samsung on their pages say not update to WM6.5 is available... What do I do?

If you just updated to CF03 then download Yardi's latest rom and install it using the UMDL application. I think the steps on how to flash are on the Omnia Upgrades page. Good luck.

In the omnia upgrades forum there is a thread called First time walk through flashing of the i910. Also mobile shell can certainly be installed if you would like to use it.

ok - couple of things so I can figure this out. Firstly I downloaded and installed the trial version of SPB Mobile Shell 3.5 - If this was how the menus and ease of use was shipped from Samsung I would never have placed it in "cold" storage and went back to my palm.

If I upgrade using Yardi's latest ROM will I install SPB Mobile shell? Is this what uses the "Titanium" everyone refers to?

Titanium is that home screen with Pictures, Music, Phone, Voicemail, etc that you see on the first page, you can scroll up and down and you can add and remove items from it, with the chome editor that I found I had to install.

Stuck with this phone until November, I'm riding it as best I can. Looking forward to a Verizon Iphone or Windows Phone (If they get their act together and give the people what they want) or Maybe a Nexus One.

Nexus One will be far surpassed by that time - actually it already is by one of the new HTC phones - and good luck with the Verizon iPhone ever happening. I always doubt those reports since Apple would have to wait until the LTE network actually existed to announce the VZW model; there's no way a CDMA model would be built since it would require a ton of resources to re-engineer it for an older, inferior network that's on its way out the door in a few years (definitely relegated to the back-seat at the very least). As for Windows Phone, it just seems right now like a Microsoft iPhone with a few hardware choices. So far, I'm not a fan.

Awesome job on Rom and instructions... I have had many WM phones and this was my first flash (not counting the standard Treo Pro Upgrade)... Thank you for making this soooo easy....

I have version 30, is there anyway to get the middle blue Windows theme for it yet or the carbon one??..Very sharp...

Hello, I am trying out the 23529 ROM and so far I like it a lot. Initially I was not able to send or receive text messages. I re-imaged and that took care of the problem. I did mention that the ROM will expire soon. Is there a fix for that? I noticed Lyorite posted a CAB fix for his latest ROM but I am not using that. Will that work on this ROM?

Another issue I am having is that I am not able to download MMS messages. I get the message but it does not contain the picture file. I checked the settings for Verizon and it seems to be fine. Am I missing something? I searched the forum and it seems no one else is having this problem or maybe everyone is and its a known issue?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

As far as I know, you cannot put an i910 ROM on an i900 Omnia. You can find i900 ROMs at http://www.modaco.com/category/342/i...ia-modaco-com/.

I am testing out Yardi's 23559 build, so far so good. The only issue I have encountered is that the Alarms don't go off when the screen is turned off. I have checked all settings and everything seems correct. I consider this a minor issue.

Just upgraded to 23559 Legacy and can't seem to get Voice Command to start.

Flashed to the 23559 original and WiFi isn't working. I went back to the Verizon stock software and it works there. I am on DC22 but I wouldn't think the Wifi would have anything to do with it.

modified rom works fine. Must be a bug with the original.

I find that sometimes when the WIFI does not work. Just do a softreset. Removing the battery won't work. Don't why but I have had that problem a couple times.
