Anyone we can flood with email messages to get you a 23517 ROM? I know Storm and Lioryte both have one, but I get weird error messages with theirs, and Storm's ROMS frequently freeze on me. No disrespect to them intended whatsoever - I know these ROMs are a lot of work.

I have 28011..why can I not install .net 3.5 ?
im trying to use mIQ but it won't install and I keep getting a msg that says its because of .net 3.5.
it tells me to remove the net frame work before I install the new one..
any help ?

Am I really the only one who has trouble downloading these things from Skydrive? I've tried it in Chrome, IE, and Firefox (I'm on a PC) and I keep getting a blank screen. Modified and original. Odd.

I would put the files up somewhere but not without getting permission first. If you are able, try switching your DNS to OpenDNS (opendns.com) since that has resolved a wide variety of website loading problems along with other benefits. they've got instructions on their website.

I don't know what changed, but I got it to download. Had a weird text messaging problem at first, but then I hard reset and everything was fine. Great work as usual!

I have been trying to get these 28205_Orig. 2part rar files to work, but when I open them in winrar, bandbox both of them, Test, "File is corrupt"??
I have tried to unrar by selecting either one, but I get errors with both.
I will try to redownload both of them again.

"File is broken".
Can you please give me a hint of what the filesize should be after unraring either one of the 2 rar files.
I get 68,085 KB after unraring the part 1. This is after placing both files into a folder all by themselfs.

I can't get 23518 Legacy to download either -- two browsers, one has a blank screen the other just blinks once and does nothing after that. Haven't had a problem with it previously.

I just downloaded 23518 legacy and unzip it. Its working fine now.

Really not sure why people having problems with these downloads. The process is super simple.

You download both files (part1 and part2) for the ROM in the folder whether original, legacy or modified.
Files must be downloaded into the same folder/directory.
After both files are downloaded.
U will need 7zip or Winrar to be installed, right-click on any of the two files and choose Extract to here or Extract to [folder name].
You can also open anyone of the two files with Winrar or 7zip and then use the options in program to unzip the files. winrar or 7zip will know that the file has two parts and will unzip/extract them correctly provided the files (part1 and part2) are in the same folder/directory.

File size for modifed and original is normally around 70 mb and legacy is around 86mb.

EDIT: I know that sometimes IE7/IE8 will not show the page the first time you visit it. So the page is blank. In this case u will need to refresh the page (sometimes for than once) until it shows. Its not skydrive, its IE and the ways the page is been cached. I have never had a problem with firefox.

Last night there were server problems at Skydrive and then later I still got the blank screen when attempting to download. This morning -- blank screens again. ](*,) This afternoon the download finally worked. Not sure what is going on, but I am looking forward to trying 23518. :headbang:

The only problem im having now is that i get a weak signal. I went from full bars to practically none. i dialed *228 and updated And programed the phone. still a weak signal

Are you seeing this in multiple locations with known signal strengths? I am not seeing a difference with 23518 at home - haven't been at work since I upgraded.

With the 23518 Legacy I am unable to start Windows Media Player. Is anyone else seeing that behavior?

Yikes! I have an even bigger problem with 23518 Legacy. The phone will no longer ring or vibrate on incoming calls! I thought I was just getting low signals, but even with 3 bars there is no ringy-dingy!

This happened to me before. I let u how to fix this later. I do not have the omnia with me right now. Basically I had to change the file that plays when the phone rings. After that I could change between normal and vibrate rings style.

The media player worked for me fine. My only problem is that i seem to have "lost" the picture and video viewer. cant open pictures. And my signal DID decrease.

Yardi.. question for you. Im a flashing noob. What is the difeerence in the 3 diff types of styles of roms you make. Modified themes, unmodified themes, and legacy? esp legacy.. how do they differ?

i had to open the back cover. remove the lil peice of black plastc covering the external antenne. stick a thin peice of wire in it. then bend it so it lays flat. small peice of tape to hold it down. slid the cover back on. Voila... more bars. worked great for me.

Sorry for not replying sooner. Windows Media works fine for me.
And I have no fix for the week signal strength. I have no idea why the rom would affect that. As some or all u may know, the rom does not update the radio on the phone.

Now don't get me wrong. You last build has actually been working great for me. I love your kitchens the most, they are the most clean, stable, quickest out of anyone's i have used.

So your lastest build actually runs smooth for me, no real issues, runs GREAT.
Hate to try a newer one and go backwards but at the same time excited.
Anything new you can add?

Hello everyone. I've been running these roms for a while and I really like them. Lot of customizations that can be easily done. Have a question re: voice command. I see it's built into the Rom, but when I connect my BT headset I can only use it as hands free. It isn't recognized as a device that I can use with Voice Command. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I am not trying to be smug, but is Voice Command enabled? Often, after a restart, it will not re-enable unless you add a command to do that.

Not having any issues with Windows Media player or with the phone accepting calls with 23529 as I did with 23518. Yippee! =D>

It does seem a bit quicker with SPB Mobile Shell.
