Hot off today's chat with "David"

clockcycle asks: Will SERO customers be able to upgrade to HTC Hero, Samsung Moment, etc, without changing their plans?

David: No. Android, webOS, and Instinct require Everything type plans.

its not only sero plan holders, its also the older customers with free and clear plans that are getting shafted

Maybe Sprint looses customers because they don't put many emphasis in expanding their coverage!! I believe there "There's a map for that". They want to be the first to roll out 4G but many areas are still with 1X and that will hurt business. Many customers will rather pay a few extra bucks for the faster networks around the country.

I would fall into that category.

Me too. I hate it but there is not much I can do about it.

i agree with you there. they are going to lose a lot of older customers(like myself) because of this.

So then, what carrier are you going to switch to?

I think the reason Sprint is doing away with SERO is pretty obvious: They still have (arguably) the best plans without SERO. I don't necessarily agree with the policy, but from a business prespective, it seems like a logical one.

I'm confused what's wrong with the simply everything plans? I like the ability of having unlimited on my services I have three of the plans.
