Wirelessly posted (Opera/9.5 (Microsoft Windows; PPC; Opera Mobi/15613; U; en))

One of the websites the leo is post showing microdots on the Leo's screen; a characteristic unique to resistive screens.

I'm one of those small font reading challenged people. I have the TP. Many times I find that it's too small to read without my glasses.

What are the dimensions of the TP compared to the Leo?

Re: LEO Confirmed

This should be a good competitor. To me the big draw to the android and iphone is the big screen, multi touch screen, and app store. this would be enough to keep me on windows mobile, but I think i'm going with the hero instead of waiting.

Re: LEO Confirmed

Take a close look at the pic below. Look in the black sections of the screen. Those microdots are for a Resistive Screen. I'm not sure if this is an early prototype or not.... I suppose it is possible that Resistive Technology + Multi-Touch has been perfected.

Re: LEO Confirmed

All we need to see is a video of someone trying to use a stylus on the screen, and/or a fingernail to perform operations on the phone. That will settle it.

What does some dots on the screen have to do with the technology? For all we know that could be part of the design in the new TFlo, right?

My Diamond and Touch Pro were resistive and I have never seen dots like that. By that logic, shouldn't they be capacitive then?

Re: LEO Confirmed

My mogul definitely has those dots. Being able to see them depends on the lighting, and angle of the phone. Your diamond and tp has those dots. You just haven't noticed them....

The cleaner the screen, the easier they are to see.

What he's talking about microdots is not literally a dot. It is the gap and or air between the 2 sheets that forms the resistive. I don't exactly see where he is looking at. But I was thinking the left side of the phone(north on the image). where U see a black line. Like U see the external screen. Then U will see another screen inside the external screen.
