The Perfect Phone

Lag? Not with this phone. Its 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM 8250 processor is one of the fastest to date. And it’s supposed to run Windows Phone 6.5. Bulky? Not this phone. At 11 mm, this thing is ultra thin. Small screen? Not this phone. With a 4.3 inch WVGA (480 x 800) capacitive touch screen display, its great for those with fat fingers. What about 3.5 mm headphone jack? Got it!
What phone am I talking about? Well, it may not be out yet, but these are the rumored specs for the HTC LEO!
Here are some pictures for you!

I hate to bring the mood down, however:

Not so sure that these are real pics/specs. Seems to be somone building their "perfect phone" in photoshop. If these were true however, I would get one without a doubt!!

Re: The Perfect Phone

yea, saw this on giz as well...even if it did come out sometime soon, it would probably cost in the 800-900 dollar range...too rich for my blood

Yeah, I was a little confused about the text on the back of the phone as well. Also, I didn't think WM was compatible with capacitive touch screens... though it would be sweet.

It cant be possible, if they ever do combine all the things everybody wants to make the perfect phone it would create a pinhead sized black hole that would swallow the earth.

Re: The Perfect Phone

I like the look of it, but with no multitouch or no keypad, I think I'll pass. I'm a cell phone gamer lol, and I gotta have one of those two features.

Re: The Perfect Phone

not sure how much truth there is behind this but i like it.. i would buy it

the batt looks kinda small for what it has, so batt life may be bad with this thing but i wouldnt mind having extra batt for back up..

this thing would put the iphone out for sure

Re: The Perfect Phone

This is the phone i've heard about months ago (some say aka Firestone-doubt it), the thing is first time i heard about it definatly had slide out qwerty(same exact specs, dual flash/320ram/1gz) which make me to believe that this is the prototype for Touch Pro3 and pictures are for Diamond3 and Pro3 respectively(only diff is between them is keyboard-htc finaly got it right).
I love dual flash(only reason i dont like Pro2 is because my (always-on-me) phone/flashlight is gone(TP ruled with single flash-imagine double on TP3):(

UI does not come with CPU(processor) so HTC will not have the same UI as TG01(which by the way is very snappy on the version i tried(in Russia)), but it will have TF3D_3 most likely

Every new release starts off as GSM because it allows them to scale globally on launch.
Once the GSM version is released the CDMA version follows soon after unless the manufacturer makes some exclusivity deal with a GSM provider like Apple did.

When 4G is ready for deployment all if the GSM/CDMA issues should go away.
Provided the FCC doesn't get involved and mess it up!

The Sprint TP2 was supposed to be dual band with both CDMA and GSM radio in it...
Last I heard the FCC had to approve that and was leaning towards not licensing it.

But that was awhile ago I don't know what the latest news on that is.

The Pics look nice and if I had to guess it's a design rendering not an actual pic.

Now this blows my HD and everything else out the water. I want it and don't care how much I pay for it lol. GSM or not, this is something I gotta get my hands on.

Re: The Perfect Phone

Sad thing is, even with those specs WinMo will probably drag it down in the performance department :(

Re: The Perfect Phone

All that and it runs on WM6.5? That's like going to baskin robbins (or insert your fav ice cream place) and asking for the most delicious ice cream they have. Except that before they give it to you they cover it with diarrhea. Then they tell you "but its the best ice cream we have!!!" and I would go like, you ruined it!!! Now its ****!!!!

Excellent phone!

Not that I believe it exists. And if it does/will, then the US carriers will ruin it anyway.

BTW, what is "Windows Phone 6.5."?

tnx

That's a very awesome phone! Too bad it's for GSM (I'm on verizon). Also, that thing is probably going to be super expensive!

lol - Windows Phone 6.5 = Windows Mobile 6.5
MS has changed the name of all WM products from 6.5 and up to WP.

If this phone comes out and isn't a bajillion dollars, I will switch to a GSM carrier to have it. My God that thing's sexy.

"Hey is that a Garmin in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?"
"No its acutally my phone..."
