If that's the logic, then all the other carriers gimped their Diamond by not offering a microSD slot. I'm just sick of people thinking there was some trend, when it only happened with one device.

Nope its not just one device, Verizon constantly has to add some type of handicap to their smart devices and regular phones, by locking Gps, limiting ram to save money, and blocks off bluetooth transfers for custom ringtones and some other files.
