Well my contract ends in november. If it turns out to be a very expensive phone, i might just go to verizon and get the new member price (unless of course they mess with the hardware like they did with the tp.)

Like HTC said. By the time they bring HD to the U.S., It's an old news. Maybe the successor of HD will come here (whitestone or firestone). Bcoz by now, HD's internals are becoming obsolete very fast.

Quartz = Touch HD / Clearwire = Sprint's Wimax partner <---- Quartz is not the Touch HD it's the HTC T8290 aka QUAR100. It's the Wimax enabled Phone that was released in russia. look here

I like the back battery cover of the Verizon version... for once, the Verizon phone looks better than the Sprint model! =D&gt;

Now if Sprint was able to get this phone that you linked I would buy it in a heartbeat! That is something to get excited over! It has been renamed the HTC Max 4G http://www.htc.com/www/product/max4g/specification.html

I was excited about it ever since last year. I keep on waiting and waiting and waiting. Well I will be waiting still. LOL. That phone's data connection is 14Mbps. Amazing isn't it?

Oh wow, It just hits me. If they have a ROM for that, Maybe it's coming!

This back battery cover is uber ugly! Are those holes to let the phone breathe? I know my TP gets hot, hope this isn't an indication the TP2 gets blazing hot too!

P.S. I'm not gettin this unless I find a way to upgrade for free, waiting for TG01 or something with WM7 specs to come out.

It's a screen cover for the speakers is what I've heard. SO this thing is gonna be a loud MP3 player.

That phone is huge! look at it compared to the iphone or Diamond. I like the specs, but I'd forgo the 480x800 screen to get a smaller phone. To me, the size of the Diamond is pretty much perfection.

It's the same size as the Touch HD. Basically a Touch HD with Wimax.
