More 6.5 capacitive screen evidence!

Well, the leaks continue as there are some newer WM6.5 builds this week that showcase even more changes. In these new builds, 21932 and 21935, Microsoft is moving even further towards “finger friendliness” with an oversize toolbar at the bottom. Even more interesting is the new text magnification, similar to what is present on the iPhone. Also present is the odd use of two “Ok” buttons in opposite corners of the screen.

There is no doubting that these are welcomed changes that will improve the Windows Mobile experience. However the more time Microsoft spends developing WM6.5, the less time they are working on the more important product, Windows Mobile 7.

i feel like the versions of 6.5 that weve been usin in ROMs for the last 1-2 months are all the changes necessary, if they just worked out the few minor kinks and got on w/ wm7 (or w/e theyre calling it, apparently not "wm" anymore) i think itd benefit them n us way more.

yes they are, im really enjoying the changes, they just need to update the graphics in the menus, and well be set untill wm7 starts leaking

23xxx builds are older, but more stable [usually], 219xx builds are the newest cutting edge builds, with all the GUI enhancements. 219xx and 23xxx will eventually be combined for what is supposedly wm 6.5.1

They have 2 different teams for WM6.5 and WM7.

Lol I was going to say that earlier but I got side tracked. Microsoft isn't this single entity that works on all the projects with the same people, they have specific dev teams for each. It's not like "oh sweet, we finally finished 6.5, how about we start working on 7 now?"lol

Not trying to be a jerk, but the title of the thread says evidence of capacitive touch. I didn't so much see any evidence of that. Finger friendliness, yes. Capacative, no.
