Re: Samsung Omnia 2 or HD

The pics on some of these sites are misleading. I don't believe the Omnia II has a keyboard. Here are the pics from Samsungs site:

http://www.samsungusanews.com/2009/0...-omnia-series/

The device with the keyboard is actually the Omnia Pro, which was not announced for Verizon.

Re: Samsung Omnia 2 or HD

Might just have to jump to Verizon if Sprint doesn't pick this up. Don't really like the idea of a hardware keyboard on a phone as big as the TP2. So this is right up my alley.

Re: Samsung Omnia 2 or HD

I think the lack of a stylus on a Windows Mobile device is a deal breaker for me.

Re: Samsung Omnia 2 or HD

Whoa no stylus, how weird! I may not use my stylus much, but sometime I find myself in a situation when I just have to whip it out and tap dat screen.

Re: Samsung Omnia 2 or HD

Like the first Omnia, it will probably come with a stylus, but there's no slot to tuck it in to. It dangles off the side of the phone with a piece of string!

Re: Samsung Omnia 2 or HD

Well I use a closed pen on my TP, Invisashield does the rest! The stylus is rarely used. but that Omnia Pro looks real sweet! gotta have the keyboard!!

Re: Samsung Omnia 2 or HD

I rarely use my stylus. With a 3.7" screen, I doubt it's necessary.

OLED!!

Re: Samsung Omnia 2 or HD

yea, i just tap w. a closed pen, no prob there. but what happened to the 8.1 MP camera? http://www.boygeniusreport.com/2009/...sung-omnia-ii/

I'm pretty sick of HTC's antics and would love to be able to pick this up on sprint....
