HTC New Phone Release June 7th

are y'all serious? the touch screen is why ive loved htc; I had the cingular 8125[htc wizard] back when it first came out, I liked it but the touchscreen just makes it the best. touchpro 2 is coming out soon and theyre supposed to work on cdma and gsm..

anyways, I wasn't trying to sound rude, just saying. :]

I see the argument for qwerty keyboards but why you use a d-pad when you can directly tap your links/buttons? Less buttons = More screen. Could always use more screen in the same amount of space IMO.

if i read the roadmap right...way back in feb...the TP2 and the pre should be both cdma and GSM capable....im thinking the rest of the smartphones to come out will be gsm capable or at least the majority of them

well rumor has it the tp2 due out in June quoted from a htc representative just cant wait hope its June means June will be a BIG sprint release month.

i would think that it would be 30 days after the launch of the palm pre... or people that dont follow forums might buy the pre then return in the 30 day policy and sprint will come across allot of returns... and i heard the htc snap might be coming out before the tp2

this phone is going to be great. I have used many touchscreen and non-touchscreen windows mobile devices and hands down, if phone functionality comes first, non-touchcreen is immensely better. As to the argument concerning less buttons, more screen space, well call me old fashion, but I strongly prefer a physical button to a flat touch screen.

I definitely see the functionality in hardware buttons, but what makes a d-pad better than directly being able to click a link instead of having to scroll down with multiple button presses? I've had 2 non-touchscreen winmo devices and 1 with hardkeys + touchscreen. Now I have the diamond and haven't looked back.

well its official!!!!! i just got the info in my playbook the HTC Snap will be launched june 7th!!!! and im pretty sure the TP2 is going to be released in july!
