HTC has made 80% of Windows Mobile phones

HTC has made 80% of all Windows Mobile Phones AppleInsider reported yesterday that HTC is responsible for 80% of the WinMo phones out there. 80%! While playing up the fact that 50 phone makers around the world have licensed the company’s Windows Mobile platform, Microsoft inadvertently let it slip out that a full 80% of all Windows Mobile phones ever made have actually come from a single maker: HTC.Who made your Windows Mobile phone? http://www.windowsmobilecool.com/200...mobile-phones/

Same here been with it since the Apache then to the mogul then to the touch then a lil off time to play with the Instinct then to the Diamond and the TP.

HTC makes a good product...
And remember, for awhile, they did not put thier names on phones, they let the companies re-brand them.

theres over as hundred winmo devices...it was just in a microsoft article where thy talked about not allowing anymore licenses to go out.. so they can focus on getting everything to one standard winmo platform and being able to have a smaller support team for all the devices...
so I say bullocks to the press release about htc doin 80 percent because htc makes like 20 handsets out of the 100+ that run winmo
