Re: 2009 HTC OEM Porducts
Soooo, some thoughts.
1. Magnet (Iolite II) my face contorted at the ugliness. 2. Hero- I threw up a little in my mouth but after the initial pepto bismol shock I kind of like the body design. 2. Is there any information you can give us about the CDMA devices other than pictures. i.e. What is the difference between Rhodiom and Tungsten, what size are the bodies of Tungsten and Casper (Pro sized or HD.) Thanks again. |
Re: 2009 HTC OEM Porducts

I decided it would be quicker to upload to to flickr than my web pages server. Now maybe Arlen or a mod can get this up top and see if it helps. |

Sprint HTC Touch HD - non Pro?
Howdy,
Thanks for the post - any word on if they will have a non keyboard edition? I'd like something like my current Touch (I had the Diamond but returned it because the battery life was dreadful). I'd love for them to make a slimmer (non keyboard) edition like the Touch HD but put the flash on it as I REALLY miss the flashlight function on my mogul. |
Re: 2009 HTC OEM Porducts
Does anybody have a guess as to what the W, C or other connotations mean? What about Jasper (2nd ID for Sprint) what is ID?
|
Re: 2009 HTC OEM Porducts
I can confirm the Sapphire picture is real, can't say anything for the rest just yet.

Re: 2009 HTC OEM Products
Nice leak. I ran across this at BGR of all places. I have no doubt that HTC can bring the hardware but I am much more interested in seeing what kind of software they will be running. As nice as these look there is no way I am buying another WM6.1 phone what with 6.5 and 7 on the way. If they can demo something in Barcelona next month that is running a worthy new version of WM then I am gonna have some serious choices to make this summer/fall when I am in the market for a new phone.

I would be guessing that the W might mean WCDMA, but given the Models it is on, that doesn't make sense. It might mean WVGA? That seems more likely. |
Re: 2009 HTC OEM Products
Or W for Wi-Max

Re: 2009 HTC OEM Products
All of these images have been uploaded to our FTP here, just in case they get deleted.

Re: 2009 HTC OEM Products
Awesome stuff bro thanks! I can't wait to check out Jaspar & Tungsten. 2009 will be a good year on Sprint lol.

Re: 2009 HTC OEM Products
Lets hope Jasper is Android! I WANT THE PRE to death, but I have Sprint SERO and it looks like Sprint is going to be a douche bag about it and not let me have it, I'm just hoping for the best. I have a diamond right now but no way am I getting another Windows Mobile device, I want something fresh and new.... Thanks OP for this fabulous post.=D>

Re: 2009 HTC OEM Products
I hope I'm wrong on this, but I don't see any of the new models as being what the Touch HD is. Look closer at the alleged Touch HD Pro, whether it's for Verizon, TMO, Sprint of AT&T. The size comparisons don't match up. What we're seeing is the same as the 2008 versions of the Touch Pro, only in 2009 they will have full-screens. However, those screens will not be 400x800 as on the Touch HD. Not that this is a horrible thing -- I'll still get one, but I'd much rather have the larger screen and no keyboard than a 2009 Touch Pro with a bigger screen.
Anyone else see what I'm talking about? |
Re: 2009 HTC OEM Products
Until it's in my hands or posted from a trusted source, I do not believe anything..

Re: 2009 HTC OEM Products
I absolutly love phones with slide keyboards
|
Re: 2009 HTC OEM Products
Saw this now...and...WOW!
Some buttons and the lack of a D-pad may point to the fact (if most are WinMo) that WM6.5 is not reliant on the D-pad. Let's hope. |
